Over 97% of U.S. companies that export internationally are small businesses. However, this number represents only 10% of all small businesses. According to the Small Business Administration (SBA) two out of every three new jobs are created by this community. SIDO works closely with a network of partners who focus on trade promotion and economic development and share the goal of state trade agencies to expand small business exports.

REED Exhibitions is a global events organizer with a portfolio of approximately 500 events in 41 countries.  REED’s primary focus is business-to-business, but also runs a small number of consumer events.  Events include trade and consumer exhibitions as well as conferences and meetings, ranging across 44 industry sectors from aerospace and aviation, to beauty and cosmetics, to sports and recreation.  In 2012 alone, seven million participants attended their events.
